Base events - opportunity from sustainability

Base City events

Our main interest is in cities and how their infrastructure and built environment can become more energy and resource efficient. In particular our events explore how a city's policy initiatives translate into delivery opportunities for the private sector. Base City events also address the relationship between sustainable development, economic growth and inward investment.

The first Base City event, Base London, is already established as an influential platform that brings together the public and private sector organisations responsible for planning, funding, delivering and managing London's low-carbon future.

We run annual Base events in London, Glasgow and Leeds and will be announcing other new host cities from across the UK and Europe shortly.

BASE

We also organise the biannual Business and A Sustainable Environment (BASE), which addresses how businesses can profit and take competitive advantage by being sustainable. The next BASE will be in Spring 2013.
